Last August 12, 2025, Don Bosco Technical Institute of Tarlac proudly took part in the first Tarlac Advocate Leaders Transformational Summit held at The Roof Deck, Tarlac Capitol Center, in celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2025 with the theme: “Local Youth Actions for the SDG’s and Beyond.”
Our Bosconian representatives immersed themselves in insightful talks and dynamic discussions on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and the 10 Centers of Youth Participation, joining fellow young leaders in championing positive change for our communities.
They also participated in the free HIV testing offered during the event — promoting health awareness and breaking the stigma towards building a healthier, more informed society.
Through their participation, they embodied the true spirit of Servant Leadership and Bosconian values —continuing our mission to lead and serve. Together, we stand for leadership, wellness, and a brighter future for all.

The Junior High School Student Council and other servant leaders went to the Student Leadership Assembly/SLA at Don Bosco Academy Mabalacat last August 8-9, 2025. The SLA lasted for 2 days and 1 night. The event was filled with fun and thrilling activities such as the "Royal Rush" and other stations scattered around the campus. Don Bosco Tarlac was also in charge of the mass and liturgical-related things at the event.
The first day opened with registration, and everyone proceeded to the gymnasium, where the Entrance of Flags and Flag Ceremony took place. After that, the opening remarks were held, the Yell of each Don Bosco Setting was performed. The groupings then took place, and everyone there was split into 10 groups. After that, they had their lunch and soon followed the first activity, which was Bingo with Twist, after gathering in the gymnasium. Then there was an icebreaker, and then the second activity followed, which consisted of different stations playing classic Filipino childhood games, it was called "Laro ng Lahi."
After a short break, the third activity was a "meme-making competition" where the memes should be related to being a leader and should show a positive image. Lastly, there was Socials Night, which consisted of the Performance and AVP Short Film for each DB setting. After all the films were presented, everyone washed up and went to sleep, marking the end of the first day.
Rising on the second day, the morning rites took place in the middle of the campus, and it was followed by the morning exercises, which consisted of stretching and a few exercises. The student leaders then ate their breakfast and had an assembly in the Gymnasium. The next activity took place which was called "Royal Rush," group members had to participate in different stations to accumulate the highest points for their group. After the activity, everyone had their AM snacks and went to the chapel for Singing Practice and the Proper Mass. After the Mass, the awarding and distribution of tokens were also done in the chapel itself. The student leaders were all dismissed and that marked the end of the SLA 2025 at DBA Mabalacat.

Student Leaders from different Don Bosco Schools in the Philippine North Province recently met and united in this year’s Student Leader’s Assembly entitled “SINULAD: Weaving Unity through Bosconian Identity” held at DB Tarlac. The Bosconian Servant-leaders were treated to a day full of talks, games, performances, and activities.
The activity started with the opening program which included the entrance of colors, prayer, school cheer, and opening remarks by our very own Rector, Fr. Jerry Santos, SDB.
Right after the opening program, the first talk was facilitated by Mr. Stephen Borja. During the processing of reflections regarding the talk, the leaders got to know each other well. Mr. Borja reminded them that “Beliefs and results will make an action.” The servant-leaders were also able to show their physical capabilities and leadership skills during the Amazing Race. Another talk was then facilitated by Mr. Borja at the auditorium, followed by the SHIELD performance from different schools. After the aforementioned activities, a Eucharistic Mass was concelebrated by Fr. Jerry Santos, Fr. Nestor Pidazo, Fr. Jay David, and Fr. Bob Zarate.
At the end of the day, the leaders were all united with a common Bosconian identity.
