FIRST QUARTER - FRIDAY | OCTOBER 18, 2024
Lay Mission Partners, parents, alumni, and students participated in the Dugong Busko blood donation drive organized by the Don Bosco Tarlac Past Pupil Association (DBTPPA), October 18, 2024.Â
Angelo Legaspi, animator of the Red Cross Youth Council, described the drive as a success despite falling short of the 100-bag target. "We have collected nearly 70 bags. It was 30 bags away from the target of 100, [but] the bags collected are enough to save some lives and that's what matters now. " Legaspi said.
The event was held in collaboration with the Philippine Red Cross – Tarlac Chapter and the Don Bosco Tarlac Red Cross Youth Council.
As part of the initiative, for every four successful blood donors, the school will receive one yellow referral card, which offers fee waivers and priority service at blood banks during emergencies.
