In the Under-13 Division,
Lucho Rafael DG. David (Grade 7) secured 3rd Runner-Up, demonstrating poise and potential beyond his years.
In the Under-18 Division,
Mark Daniel A. Prellejera (Grade 12) earned 4th Runner-Up, showing consistent focus and determination, while
James Henry C. Calacday (Grade 11) made an incredible run to claim 1st Runner-Up, proving himself as one of the region’s top young talents.

FIBA U-16 ASIA CUP SEABA QUAIFIERS MAY 2025
The Gilas Pilipinas Youth squad, led by PBA legend LA Tenorio, dominated the FIBA U16 Asia Cup SEABA qualifiers, clinching the gold with a commanding 70-40 victory over Indonesia on May 30 at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center in Pampanga!
Tarlaqueño baller Luisito Joel "Jolo" C. Pascual, captain of the team and a former Don Bosco Tarlac student, played a crucial role in their journey to victory.

Our Philippine International Mathematical Olympiad (PHIMO) Heat Round (April 2025) winners were recognized today in a school-based awarding ceremony, showcasing their outstanding achievements in Mathematics.

22ND BANGKO INTERNATIONAL CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP APRIL 2025
Big congratulations to JAMES HENRY C. CALACDAY of Grade 11 Braga!
Against all odds, James made an incredible leap from being seeded 45th to securing an impressive 31st place in the 22nd Bangkok International Chess Championship 2025! With a solid performance of 4 wins, 2 draws, and 3 losses, his hard work and strategic brilliance shone brightly on the international stage.
To top it off, James clinched 5th place in the Under-18 category—a remarkable achievement! Your Braga family couldn't be prouder of you, James.

1ST LUANG PU SUANG INTERNATIONAL FOLKLORE COMPETITION APRIL 2025
With humble hearts, we share the joyful news that our Bosconians were hailed champions in the 1st Luang Pu Suang International Folklore Competition held in Thailand, April 18, 2025!
We extend our warmest congratulations to our student-delegates and their coaches, Mr. Christian P. Jimenez and Mrs. Maria Theresa Miclat, for this remarkable achievement that brings pride not only to our school but also to our country.
Heartfelt thanks also go to Prof. Marcelino Balanquit, Ms. Celine Balanquit, our dear parents, peers, and everyone who supported the team through their prayers and encouragement.
We likewise express our deep gratitude to Fr. Jose Isidro S. Torres, SDB, Senior High School Spiritual Moderator and Assistant Principal for Pastoral Affairs, and Mr. Gil A. Siongco II, Senior High School Principal, for their support, guidance, and presence throughout the team’s journey in Thailand.
We also acknowledge Hon. Cristy Angeles, City Mayor of Tarlac, for the continued support of youth initiatives like this that promote culture, education, and global engagement.
The team was also honored to present a token of appreciation to Dr. Achara Phanurat, former rector of Surindra Rajabhat University (SRRU) and current president of the Surindra International Folklore Festival Foundation.

DOST YOUTH EXCELLENCE IN SCIENCE AWARD 2024
From a wide array of students with special skills in Mathematics, four Bosconians were recognized by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Science Education Institute for their international contribution in their field conferring the Youth Excellence in Science (YES) Award, last January 30, 2024, at Fr. Balocco Gymnasium.
The YES Award is to recognize young men and women of science whose quest for excellence knows no bounds. The students who are awarded are; Julleana Marie Soriano, Jesse Alexander A. Mancao, Allan Matthew V. Verbo, and Royce Cendrick Y. Wong. These young mathematicians were accompanied by the Rector – Principal, Fr. Edwin L. Ulanday, SDB, Deputy Principal for Academic Affairs, Fr. Daniel R. Gonzales, SDB, and the Institution Research Officer, Mr. Karl Josh M. Guillermo.

We would like to congratulate our very own Bosconian pride, Ms. Angeline Fajardo of 12-Boscariol, for winning 4th place at the recently concluded Search for the ONE: The Next ONE FM 96.1 DJ held at SM City Tarlac last February 22, 2020.
Fajardo was one of the 10 finalists/students from various schools in the province who competed and were chosen from the different stages of the competition which started in September- from the eliminations up to the day of the finals which was held as stated above.
